My running stats

Time to talk a bit about my running habits 😄

Been running since April 29 2023, so yeah, only a few months. I’d say my shape wasn’t the best back then (not fat nor thin, but certainly not athletic) and my age may have been an issue (I’m starting at 43), so I feel like my progress is slooow, but progress non the less!

Here are a couple screenshots from my Map Runner app so you can see where I’m standing:

As you can see, my numbers aren’t very impressive and I’m still a total amateur and non connaisseur on the running world, but I’m enjoying it a lot.

Running has helped me with my mental and emotional issues in ways I can’t imagine but I can glimpse… I’ll post more about it in the future, but first of all I wanted to write about my routine basics.

I have a very good/loved friend/lover/partner who’s helping me on my journey because, besides being a wonderful and caring person, he’s also a trail running coach 😄 so he gives me invaluable directions that I cherish and appreciate so much.

Nowadays I’m running about 3.2km in the park next to where I live, never on concrete or asphalt, always on soil… so yes, I’m an urban trail runner 😆

Too lazy to get up earlier before work so I go for my run in the afternoon after work. That way I get home tired and satisfied, ready for a shower and supper, not leaving me much spare time to think about things I shouldn’t care about anymore.

I stretch, take a fast paced walk to the park, run for about 20+ minutes, then a not so fast paced walk back home haha. I love feeling tired after my daily run ❤️

Spread the love
